Jan. 25, 2006: WSI Board of Directors meeting at the World Security Institute.

Jan. 19, 2006: Bruce G. Blair, President of the World Security Institute, will be presenting at the United Nations, NYC, at the World Citizen Association Awards Ceremony.

Jan. 12-14, 2006: Theresa Hitchens, Director of CDI, will be a panelist at the first Forum on Space and Defense in Colorado Springs; she will discuss Space and Grand Strategy on a panel led by Dr. Jim Wirtz.

Jan. 10, 2006: CDI/PSR Global Security Seminar will hold its January meeting at the UCLA Faculty Center in Los Angeles at 6:30 p.m. The speaker will be Professor David Goodstein, Vice Provost and Professor of Physics at Caltech, who will assess the coming end of the age of oil.

Dec. 13, 2005: CDI Senior Advisor will give a presentation on the Significance of the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Outcomes - Now and in the Future - to the San Diego Chamber of Commerce at the Bay View Restaurant on the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego on Dec. 13, 2005.

Dec. 13, 2005: Col. Chet Richards (USAF, ret.) has recently completed a new work, Neither Shall the Sword: Conflict in the Years Ahead. It is now at the printers and will be released in January. On Dec. 13, 2005, Col. Richards will present a short briefing summarizing his controversial new monograph, and pre-publication copies will be available.
